OLD HOLLYWOOD
Old Hollywood is a reinspired vintage boutique in Greenpoint Brooklyn that I created and developed with my business partner Tiffany Porter. Developing a store identity, brand business strategy, design and production has been a great experience. Old Hollywood started as an idea to revive an old-timey aesthetic and give it a new life.

The first transformation was the store. We started with a space that was adorned with pepto pink walls, 20 year old vinyl flooring and light fixtures that seems to be purchased from the dollar store. Over the next two months we gutted the space, installed new flooring, lighting, racks and decorations. Creating our version of a lounge boudoir. More images of the store's transformation can be found on Old Hollywood's FLICKR page.

Throughout the store and all pieces of our identity we use frames and layers of texture. This is executed in different ways throughout our web presence. Explore it for yourself: oldhollywoodmoxie.com

We were very excited that in our first year in business we had the honor of being awarded Best Jewelry In New York Magazine's Best of New York issue.

On our first take at advertising we thought it was most important to establish our look and very clearly show what we had to offer. This ad ran in Vice's Guide to Brooklyn where simple sophistication would stand out from normal diy look of the magazine.
